Relic

This overview identifies the 1965 Sweet Tears doll as a mid-century icon designed to simulate an infant's vulnerability with a drink-and-wet mechanism. It is noted as being highly sought after by collectors, particularly for its ginger rooted hair and original pink gingham lace-trimmed outfit. Value is heavily dependent on condition, accessory completeness, and the functionality of the crying mechanism and eyes.
